Paris Fashion Week.. In Kim K's World

Love her or hate her, I'm afraid to tell you that reality star Kim Kardashian has well and truly infiltrated the high fashion world, bombarding us with couture throughout Paris Fashion Week, the city her and husband Kanye West have almost claimed their own this past year. 

Upon her arrival to the French capital with husband and baby Nori in tow, she donned a creamy nude blanket coat, draping it over a snug white roll neck, skinny jeans and velvet knee-high boots. 

For the Balenciaga show, Kim co-ordinated with cutie North West in sports luxe. Kardashian opted for a tight black slashed peplum top with polo neck and skinny jeans, while Nori supported daddy in a Yeezus tee and leather skirt. 

Spot of origami anyone? The reality star opted for a sleeved blazer with intricate folded detail along with a matching two piece, all finished off with dainty Gianvitto Rossi court shoes. Elegant. 

On September 25th, the star took on the tartan trend and won with this 70's-inspired ensemble. Her loose-fitting plait shirt was teamed with bell-bottomed trousers and a leather wrap belt to accentuate her tiny waist. Body.Envy. 

DING DING DING! You hear that? That's the sound of Kim Kardashian winning. No-one can doubt she had regal quality in Balmain's truly stunning floor length gown with lace cut-out detail and killer boot stilettos. She finished the look with white and gold cuffs around her wrists and her neck, with her hair swept back to allow no distractions. What an outfit. 

Making the tuxedo jacket look hotter than it should, she displayed a WHOLE LOT of cleavage in an oversized blazer with an intricate feather skirt that contained studded detailing. WERK. 

Dear Kim Kardashian, please may I have your stylist? Wowza. The star showed black is best with a sheer/leather pairing- using the same chained belt as above, she teamed a chiffon top with a leather studded and tassled skirt, strapped shoes and super long noir coat. 

As if off-duty could look this good... 

Departing the city, she went all out in a holey baby pink Chanel number. The candy cotton two piece contained her now signature roll neck look and her pastel fest was made complete with a light slate jacket and suede stillettos. 

Why You Shouldn't Be Looking at Jennifer Lawrence Nude

The press has today been plagued with the news that over 100 celebrities are under threat of having intimate pictures of themselves leaked on the internet. Names such as Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Lea Michele and Kaley Cuoco are amongst those on a vile list released by an unknown person said to be hacking their phones after an iCloud leak. 

I sit here an irritated young lady. I was messaged tonight and asked if I wanted to see Jennifer Lawrence nude. My answer was an instantaneous prolific no, yet my thoughts on the subject lingered. 

If we were to eliminate the word celebrity from the equation, how differently would people look at this situation? All of the women under threat are victims- all trusted the situation they were in, took images they believed would remain safe and the release of these images is a violation of their privacy. 

So What IS The Harm in a Couple of Photos Leaked Online? 

"Might boost her career"

"She'll get over it"

"She shouldn't have taken them in the first place"

Statements of a similar stature are heard regularly in the case of  girls becoming victims of revenge porn- Young people are now becoming sexually active at a much younger age, the pressure to look attractive and gain a sexual partner seems a necessary goal but with the growth of a digital age, these images being used deviously are on the rise. 

Social media is a place to interact, but it has also become a place of taunting and bullying, where both girls and boys face abuse from peers over their looks, their sexual orientation and the release of images similar to these.

 Just as porn projects a false image of sex for young people, these pictures too could have a knock-on affect as to the lengths teenage girls are willing to go to to impress the opposite sex. Actresses such as Jennifer Lawrence, praised for her normality and her charm as well as her renowned role in family film Hunger Games could now have their reputations inadvertently tarnished and more importantly, be setting a worrying example to young fans. 

Women are not sexual objects and if we are to take any steps towards equality, it would be to discontinue circulating awful images such as these. Before you decide to take a look at these images out of interest, think how you would feel if it was YOU.

After the questionable outfits displayed during the VMA's, I breathe a sigh of relief as this television awards restores the balance in sophisticated fashion (almost).

Sarah Hyland 
I think blossomed is the most appropriate way to describe Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland who looked positively ravishing on the red carpet in her rouge cream combo. Accentuating her tiny waist yet maintaining a sense of comfort, this outfit was one of my favourites of the night. 

Kristen Wiig

My favourite funnywoman Kristen Wiig always turns out well and the Emmys were no exception. She stunned in this ethereal silk dress with elegant side split, but ever the casual lover, she opted for a bob set in beachy waves. 

Allison Williams 

What's better than a dress with cascading tulle? NOTHING. This dress defines my belief in being brave about mixing up your colour palette. A black bow, pink bodes and nude skirt all wrapped but with a lemon belt is pretty much perfection to me. 

Julia Roberts

Looking hot to trot, acting LEGEND Julia Roberts donned Elie Saab for the red carpet, which had rather inspiring bubble-like embellishments. Midnight blue suits you lady, stick with it!

Clare Danes

Rouge was very much the colour of the night and Clare Danes looked ADORABLE in her lace and brocade dress. A flora-inspired trim and a thin belt finished off her look perfectly, not to mention those sheer triangles in line with her waist that complimented her figure.

Zooey Deschanel
NO! I hoped to never put this lovely lady on this God-awful list but here she is (sad face). This fuchsia nightmare is far from what I expected of Miss Deschanel and where is your fringe? *hyperventilates* bring it back Zooey!

Lena Dunham
Poor Lena got criticised for this outfit so much. I have to say, I am a fan of the wild skirt but darling, that powder pink shirt looks like it came out of Grease. For that reason- BLEURGH. 

Gwen Stefani 
I was so bored by Stefani's outfit on the Emmy's red carpet. Looking like her hair was chemically straightened, she opted to wear her silver maxi dress on her hips. WHO DOES THAT ANYMORE? It's all about the high waist Gwenny. 

Katherine Heigl

Gold is the colour of a winner, but a status I would never bestow on Katherine Heigl in THIS contraption. As silky as a pimp's duvet cover, I couldn't help but be disgusted by this outfit, sorry Heigl. 

Amy Poehler

Again, get over the standard metallics, please? Amy Poehler's dress made her look way larger than she really is and if she was trying to achieve a 1920's Gatsby throwback, she was failing.

Best Dressed 

Kim Kardashian, Kendall and Kylie Jenner

I beg you, adopt me! I love how co-ordinated these three ladies have been on the red carpet recently and the VMAs were no exception. Youngest sibling Kylie Jenner wore a draped silk dress with Jolie split as sister Kendall opted for an uber tight jumpsuit with sultry sheer top section. Queen Kim might be the smallest of the trio, but her outfit was the mightiest in a red monochrome geometric print dress with super-sexy plunging neckline. Wowzers. 

Nicki Minaj

I think it's fair to say this lady is pretty much ruling the charts at the moment, so why not rule the red carpet too? True to animal-themed single Anaconda, Minaj donned a shimmering leopard print mini, keeping it understated with large curls and brilliant white heels.

CharliXCX

I'm always a fan of the brave and the bold, and budding superstar CharliXCX showed us what she was made of in this zesty zebra jumpsuit that clashed perfectly with her stilettos and jet black hair. Perfection.

Jessie J

I've always disliked Jessie J's harsh fringe so seeing her looking this ethereal got me extremely excited for a JJ fashion revival. Her passive mint green grecian gown looked A-MAZING.

Taylor Swift 

So despite the presence of an *ahem* obvious camel toe, T-Swift went risqué and totally succeeded. The sexy brocade playsuit showed off her skinny pins perfectly.

Miley Cyrus

Sobering from her hammer-licking ways, Miley Cyrus was bang on-trend for sunday's awards with a skinny leather crop and matching trousers.

What is this sorcery? Joan Smalls' Aztec-influenced print dress is a unique beauty- I love the cape-esque feature to it. 

Solange Knowles

Channelling chic androgyny, Solange threw no punches at this years VMAs in her sparkly lady tux and voluptuous  'do.

Rita Ora

Is that Jessica Rabbit?! Showing Calvin Harris what he's missing, Rita Ora stunned in her red silk gown with eye-watering thigh split, accompanying it with sleeked back hair and killer rouge. A true high fashion spectacle.

There was a reason why Britney and Justin only wore matching denim once-it looked dreadful. Perry who usually opts for ravashing pieces donned Versace with a jet black wig. Eurgh. 

Amber Rose

Despite the beauty of Amber Rose's figure, I really did think there wasn't much left to the imagination. Chain mail chic it may be, but I was thinking more along the lines of a gown as oppose to the remnants of a beaded curtain...

Beyonce

*yawn* Where was the originality in Beyonce's meek rouge piece? It may have sheer elements to it, but I couldn't help but be bored as Beyonce adopted her signature style. 

Jennifer Lopez

More for a cheesy ballroom than a red carpet event, I almost vommed at J Lo's crystal contraption. They say all that glitters is not gold- I say all that glitters is a piece of crap. 

Ariana Grande

In an attempt to shed the innocent image, it seems Miss Grande opted for snazzy stripper chic, but oh lordy did it backfire. Just like Demi Levato's too-tight Moschino disaster at the Kids Choice Awards, Ariana looked cheap. 

Chloe Moretz 

Prissy in pastel, actress Chloe Moretz looked way too sweet in her cotton candy-strawberry combo. The outfit was overall a little too grown up for the teenager who shoulf have opted for a more relaxed look.

Why, When and HOW are these two dating?

When our fave film gal Jennifer Lawrence broke up with long-term beau Nicholas Hoult, we were all a bit sad (for a millisecond), but what's worse than a celeb break-up? a plain weird pairing.

Give me a minute to drag my jaw from the floor as I write that APPARENTLY the Hunger Games beauty spent a romantic afternoon with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin at the Wolffer Estate Vinyard in New York shortly before her 24th birthday.

A supposed insider blabbed:

"The setting was super romantic. They watched the sun go down together, then quietly left."

*rolls eyes*

The press have deemed J Law to be the exact opposite of Martin's estranged wife and health freak, actress Gwyneth Paltrow, enjoying cigarettes and pizza- qualities that reportedly attracted him to her. Interestingly though, Paltrow nominated the singer in her ice bucket challenge. We shall see if he accepts...

Until I see hard picture evidence, I'm pretty sceptical about this pair.

It's true to say that if it weren't for Jenner, a constant promoter of her children, the Kardashians as a brand would be non-existent, save for their father being embroiled in the controversial OJ Simpson trial, of course. Ladies, Khloé Kardashian has some wise words when it comes to taking a dip in the sea..

"Don't go into the ocean while on your period because a shark is going to attack you."

Okay... so this statement has never been proven, but it's definitely funny. Thanks for the heads up Khloé!

Jennifer Lawrence Dumped By Nicholas Hoult Over Her Enormous Ego

Say it's not so?! 

J Law and bigheaded really don't sound right when placed in the same sentence, so what is with the reports of long-term boyfriend Nicholas Hoult getting rid of the star due to her "exploded ego. We've already had to deal with this cute couple breaking up, so why did they really call it quits?

The rumours are ridiculous, but The Fix reported that Hoult believed Lawrence had developed a "love of fame"and a source claimed she is desperate to win him back. 

"They're still talking but Nicholas is moving on. He hates how in love with fame Jen is, and he told her he hates dating an A-list actress."

To make make matters worse, it has also been claimed that Hoult is dating actress Riley Keough, being spotted with her earlier this week. Today he was seen in Tokyo with co-star Kristen Stewart eating sushi following the commencement of filming for upcoming movie Equals- that must mean they are dating too, right?!

Speaking to V Magazine he said of his relationship 

"I am just kind of her bystander in many ways.Enjoy the good times but don’t get swept away with it. … I think that’s something she’s capable of doing and what’s makes her special."

What does this all mean? either way I totally think J Law should be given another chance. I LOVE HER.
