Best and Worst Dressed at the BRIT Awards 2015

Best Dressed

Marina Diamandis
Channeling true Hollywood glamour, I adored Marina's heavily embellished gown with flattering, plunging neckline and mint green fur throw to accompany it. Favourite look of the night!

Daisy Lowe
What a vixen! Velvet is perennial and the star used it to her advantage with the dress being gathered at her waist, accentuating her curves.

Jessie Ware
Although her actual dress to the event was disappointing, her outfit before got me really excited. I love how Jessie playfully layered different plaids.

Fearne Cotton
Although she will be leaving Radio 1, I do hope to carry on seeing Fearne Cotton's style. Always impeccably dressed, this muted mini looked fabulous on her, completed with dustings of gold on her accessories.

Paloma Faith
Wowzers, I'm always impressed with singer Paloma Faith's kooky style,  this seemed slightly toned down, but still stunning. Sprinkled with metallic red detailing, the soft tulle dress suited her curves.

Lianne La Havas
Adpoting the crispest whites this season, it was all about sports luxe dressing when it came to Lianne La Havas' outfit.

Caroline Flack
Who doesn't love a bit of oxblood leather? Caroline Flack looked ravishing in her red mini, complete with her iconic lob and some simply strappy stilettos.

FKA Twigs
Bow down to trend-setter FKA Twigs! I adore her risqué strapped top and tie-print skirt, layered with trousers for a subtle nod to the '90s.

Rita Ora
A new found elegance washed over Rita Ora during the BRIT's as she donned Roberto Cavalli for the occasion.

Cara Delevingne
Harry Styles is that you?! Model Cara Delevingne seemed to be channeling her ex-boyfriend in Saint Laurent. Chic nonetheless!

Little Mix
Glam squad alert! These ladies have gone from strength to strength over the years and this has to be my favourite look to date!

Worst Dressed

Taylor Swift
A lot of people may have loved Swifty's dragon, but I hated it. It reminded me more of a '90s tattoo than something I would wear on a dress!

Charli XCX
I usually love everything Charli XCX wears but I was sorely disappointed at her monochrome decision. Although it was risqué, I felt it didn't suit her.

Fleur East
How dull is Fleur East's draped gown? YAWN.

Best and Worst Dressed at the Oscars 2015

Another year, more amazing gowns...

Best Dressed

Emma Stone
Amongst the 200 Oscars images I scoured through, Emma Stone's dress was my ultimate favourite. A trail of zesty lime green, the heavily embellished gown perfectly suited the actresses complexion.

Keira Knightley
Owning maternity style, the beautiful Keira Knightly stepped out in an exquisite Valentino piece of cascading nude tulle finished with subtle floral detailing.

Lady Gaga
Queen of pop Lady Gaga re-invented herself on the red carpet with a crisp white gown, princess-like in proportions. Always willing to make a statement, she finished the outfit with fiery red gloves.

Margot Robbie
We've been in love with her since her breakthrough role in Wolf of Wall Street, as Margot Robbie wore Saint Laurent with pride on Sunday night, accessorising the draped piece with intricate, tasseled jewellery.

Jennifer Lopez
Wowzers! Covered in cappuccino-coloured tulle, this Ellie Saab gown is stunning. Jennifer Lopez, what a great choice!

Rita Ora
I adore Rita Ora's style, and this silky midnight blue Marchesa gown is no exception. The fish tale element accentuated her figure and the dress was finished with pretty dustings of gold.

Sienna Miller
What a Queen. How AH-Mazing does Sienna Miller look in Oscar De La Renta? Those cheekbones.

Rosamund Pike
Opting for a fiery red, actress Rosamund Pike might have chosen to wear the same colour as the carpet, but she did far from blend in. I loved this piece and with a simple up do and subtle, strappy stilettos, all attention was on her gown.

Tegan Quin & Sara Quin
Proving that the red carpet isn't all about embellished frocks, Tegan and Sara got extra androgyny points for their masculine ensembles. Loving that slicked-back hair ladies!

How CUTE were Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshawe? In matching midnight blue, I loved Bagshawe's feathered belt and skull details on her dress.

Cate Blanchett
On it's own, this dress may have been dull, but Blanchett cleverly teamed it with a chunky teal necklace. Exquisite.

Worst Dressed

Kelly Osbourne
Ugh. When is Kelly Osbourne going to stop making 'goth' happen? Her dress was unflattering and her pastel hair looks more Dot Cotton than Dolce & Gabbana.

Chloe Moretz
Oh lordy, Chloe Moretz looks as if she stepped out a period drama, but not in the good way. The faded florals are drab, and for such a skinny lady, the thick waist is unflattering.

Chrissy Teigen
Wow, I think All of Me hates this dress. Mrs Legend donned a rather been-there-done-that design in duck egg blue.

Naomi Watts
Miss Watts' meagre attempt to look edgy in Armani failed with the gown's bandeau-esque attachment underneath. Yuck!

Nicole Kidman
Although I love all things iridescent, Nicole Kidman's outfit fell flat for me - the red belt and chunky bag seemed out of place.

Karolina Kurkova
How dull can dusky pink get? Kurkova's choice was shapeless and lacked any character, a no-go for me.

Ethan Hawke and Ryan Hawke
Is it just me, or do these guys look super awks?!

Adam Levine & Behati Prinsloo
Does it look a little like i'm picking on couples here? Oh well.. Adam Levine didn't stop with his PDA's on the Oscars red carpet, and Behati's red embellished gown fell flat for me. The 'do did nothing to flatter her ears either..

Mortdecai London Premiere 19th January

I was pretty lucky this week as I managed to bag myself Mortdecai premiere tickets (hooray!). After years of swooning after the agelessly beautiful Johnny Depp, I finally got the chance to see him in the flesh, alongside a viewing of his new comedy starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Ewan McGregor.

After filing on to the red carpet with a group of competition winners, catching a peep at Johnny (amongst his rather large entourage) and snapping a few selfies, we took our seats inside the Empire at Leicester Square.

Feeling pretty bloody awkward on the red carpet.

The free snacks and IMAX itself made the experience enjoyable and before the showing, director David Koepp introduced the film, joined by a couple of shy waves from Mr Depp.

The film itself oozed Peter Sellers in respect to its comedy- extremely silly, often slapstick heavy, Johnny Depp really did carry the film a large proportion of the time with his character of Charlie Mortdecai, an aristocratic art dealer caught up in a race to recover a stolen painting.

Kudos to Paul Bettany, whose role as a cockney manservant also carried a lot of the movie, however I felt a fusion of Nazi gold, angry Russians and dodgy art dealing was perhaps a 'been there, done that' plot.

Those elements aside, a brilliant evening out and I recommend going along to Leicester Square to see a premiere, even if it is just to gaze at the stars...

Miley Cyrus Says Masturbating Keeps the Haters Away

Ever so slightly NSFW....

As if her naked pictures weren't enough, Miley Cyrus seems to be attempting to shock the world further with a suitably weird image of her hand down her shorts. WTF?!

I'm totally divided on this issue- my brain is battling between wanting to puke at the site of Cyrus' latest stunt, and comparing it to Nick Jonas' crotch grab which was labelled 'hot'. Hypocritical?

Taking to Instagram to share her rather bizarre knowledge, she claimed "a masturbate a day keeps the haters away". NICE.

Fans of the star reacted in comments such as

"Hannah Montana was way better than the real Miley Cyrus"

Another said "OH MY SH*T she's lost it"

"You need help. What ever happened to self-respect & class?"

Should we be shocked, or should we just put it down to her personality? Compare it to Gaga: We all got a bit bored of her wardrobe changes after a while, perhaps we will grow numb to this. But is that necessarily right?!

This week she shocked her followers with a COMPLETELY naked picture of herself in the bath *OMG* for V Magazine. She also shared other raunchy snaps from the shoot, one with the caption below. The pictures were taken down, but obviously I have them (also below).

""@vmagazine exclusive #diaryofadirtyhippie order yurrrr copy nowwwww cumzzzz w ol school pull out postahhhh photography by @cheythom f--k yaaaas weez a bunch of happy hippies ova hurrrr! Muah Vfam!,

If someone could get back to me with a translation on that, it would be greatly appreciated.

Is Beyonce Pregnant? Do We Care?

Everyone is all in a buzz about the possibility of a new Bey-by (see what I did there?), but could the songstress actually be expecting her second child?

Whether an act to get attention, or an innocent trip to the beach, Beyonce posted an image of herself buried in the sand this weekend next to daughter Blue Ivy, with what appears to be a sandy form of a baby bump.

Should we expect that she is expecting? Is she trying to tell us something not so cryptic? and do we actually care?

*cough* attention seeker *cough*

P.S: Have you noticed we hardly ever see Blue Ivy's face? weird.

Everything You Need To Know About the Golden Globes

Hurrah for the coming of awards season, kicked off last night with The Golden Globes as stars from around the world descended to celebrate another year of film. Here's all you need to know about the night.

Benedict Cumberbatch's Photobomb

After successfully photobombing U2 at the Oscars last year, Mr Cumberbatch is back on form as last night he managed to get involved in a snap of Meryl Streep with Margaret Cho who played a North Korean general. Priceless.

Stars Held Up 'Je Suis Charlie' Signs

It was wonderful to see solidarity at this year's Golden Globes, and stars turned out to show their unity by holding signs reading 'Je Suis Charlie' in the wake of the Paris tragedies. Other stars to hold up signs included Diane Kruger, Patricia Arquette, Cathy Bates and Amal Clooney, who wore a badge on her clutch.

The Brits Did Well

Eddie Redmayne, Ruth Wilson and Joanne Froggatt (Downton) all won awards last night, most notably Redmayne's for his role as Steven Hawking in The Theory of Everything.

Taylor Swift Partied With Her BFFs

Amongst the married couples, new loves and mums-to-be, songstress Taylor Swift arrived with her posse of gals to celebrate the Golden Globes in style. Joining her were Selena Gomez, Lorde and Lena Dunham. Who needs boys huh?

Chrissy Teigen Won the Award for Best Cry Face

John Legend's wife had a pretty emotional response to his Golden Globes win last night, and her reaction went viral. Rivalling that fugly Kim K cry face, Teigen took it in her stride tweeting "it's been 5 minutes and I'm a meme", followed by a silly faced selfie with her husband.

George Clooney Recycled His Wedding Tux

Back in September, silver fox George Clooney wed Amal Clooney in Venice in front of their star-studded guests. Backstage last night he admitted his outfit was exactly the same as his wedding attire, but more adorable was his acceptance speech:

"It's a humbling thing to find someone you love. Even better if you've been waiting your whole life...Amal, whatever alchemy it is that brought us together, I couldn't be prouder to be your husband."

Conchita Wurst Took to the Red Carpet

One word: Fierce. Wearing a velvet, emerald green piece, Conchita sauntered down the red carpet looking pretty darn classy.

The Realisation that Jessica Chastain and Amy

Adams Look So Similar

Do you know what I mean?!

Can We Just Talk About Colin Farrell's Moustache?

Sleazy 70's detective comes to mind...

In other news: Kevin Spacey dropped the F Bomb and J Lo got complimented on her chest by cheeky chappy Jeremy Renner.

Best and Worst Dressed at The People's Choice Awards 2015

Best Dressed

Olivia Munn
Olivia Munn stunned in this glittering monochrome number, with varied horizontal stripe thicknesses to compliment her figure. She dressed down the look with a casual pony and plain black stilettos. Perfection.

Chloe Moretz

Who knew mesh and leather were kissing cousins? Chloé Mortez really is coming into her own style-wise, and I love this oxblood-black buttoned mini skirt she teamed with a white mesh top. The vintage accents in both pieces fuse them together into an ideal ceremony outfit.

Ginnifer Goodwin
Oh Marilyn! I love how Ginnifer Goodwin chose an ankle-grazing '50s style dress in a crisp white shade- it perfectly juxtaposes her raven hair, and the 3/4 length sleeves are very slimming.

Sarah Hyland
Actress Sarah Hyland was a true bejewelled beauty as she arrived at last night's People's Choice Awards in Christian Siriano. Embellished from top to toe in high voltage metallics, the sheer bottom half of the dress also allowed her to show off those amazing pins. Go girl!

Kat Dennings

I'm loving the return to retro right now, and Kat Dennings go it spot on with her black lace piece. With statement frilled shoulders and a floor length composition with her body tidily packed away in a mini dress, she really shone.

Katherine McPhee

Move over Kim K, there's a new Balmain beauty on the block. I am such a huge fan of this modest, yet chic co-ord created by the French designer. From it's eye-blurring horizontal-striped skirt, to it's colour-combining halter, McPhee showed what monochrome was made of.

Melissa McCarthy
I love actress Melissa McCarthy and thought this navy trouser suit was given an extra edge with a subtle leather trim and some vibrant rouge.

Worst Dressed

Anna Faris

What kind of flamenco-esque flop is this? Just like the movies she signs for, this two-piece is pure tat. Frills are for clowns! Oh wait...

Portia De Rossi

I'm really not a fan of this geometric cobalt blue jumpsuit by Zuhair Murad. Cut-outs are trickling away from the catwalk and it was a wrong move to team the piece with nude stilettos as they are swallowed by the strength of colour in the outfit.

Ellen DeGeneres
I'm afraid Ellen Degeneres looks more like a tennis player, than a talk show host. The sickly off-white hue of her jacket sadly extends to her trousers and her trainers. Matchy matchy= pukey pukey.
