Best and Worst Dressed at the Grammys 2016

The biggest night in music took place last night- yes it's the Grammys (woot woot!) From models and singers to actresses and TV personalities, the stars were out in full force to show us their wears.

Best Dressed

Bella Hadid
I may be biased (I LOVE BELLA) but how effortless did Miss Hadid look last night on the arm of boyfriend The Weeknd? Making a case for the plunge neckline, the star teamed her look with subtle strapped heels and slicked back hair.

Ariana Grande
Although Ariana stuck to her signature pony, I was excited by her fiery red floor-skimming gown. Way to make a statement gurl!

Adele
Adele, I love you. It's always nice to see a long sleeved piece and this one worn by the songstress positively shimmered. That long bob made me want to reach for the scissors.

Ellie Goulding
In a delightful shade of mauve, Ellie Goulding kept it subtle (unlike a lot of people) in this season's most coveted cut, the slip dress.A sweep over and intricate jewellery complimented the look perfectly.

Amber Heard
Hot to trot, Johnny Depp's wife Amber Heard didn't need a gown to make an impact. Her sleek trouser suit and red lip put Zendaya's attempt to shame.

Florence Welch
A Florence you are so cute! How dreamy is this bubblegum pink gown with space imagery? I'm not a fan of frills but the bottom half of the piece is done to perfection.

Lady Gaga
Oh Gaga, could we expect any less? Kudos to the star who arrived dressed in a David Bowie-inspired dress, complete with statement orange hair and heels I would only describe as 'sitting shoes'. Always one to make an impact, this year was another success for her.

Miranda Kerr
Model Miranda Kerr brought her a-game to the award show after-party in a wild animal print dress in acid green and brilliant yellow. I'm digging it.

Kacey Musgraves
Singer Kacey Musgraves looked ethereal in her bandea frilled gown, decorated in elegant shades of violet, blue and turquoise.

Worst Dressed

Taylor Swift
Oh hey Anna Wintour, is that you? Sporting a disasterous bob and a bandeau top that belongs in the 90's, this two piece is an utter mess. Taylor, you do know we can see your pants, right?

Dencia
Whoever said "I know, let's create a onesie, but a onesie that is decorated with rhinestones and Hello Kitty dolls" has something wrong with them. What is this?!

Carrie Underwood
Wonky boob tube plus extreme side split equals bleurgh.

Faith Evans
Someone needs to tell Faith Evans that fur stoles were so last season. Her silk dress is a putrid shade of cream and she's really missing the mark when it comes to an old Hollywood look.

Zendaya
A trousers suit that doesn't work for a number of reasons- the flared trouser and the grandad collar shirt- look to Amber Heard who did it right.

Ciara
Okay so when we are talking side splits, Ciara is a prime example of what not to do. You should be wearing underwear lady, and I don't see any...

Z Lala
Obligatory Z LaLa on the worst dressed list- as per. What is this contraption? It's like early 2010's Lady Gaga...

Best and Worst Dressed at the BAFTA's 2016

It's that time of year again! As the stars descend on the capital to celebrate achievements in the world of film, here are some of the best (and worst) looks of the night.

Best Dressed

Alicia Vikander
A rising style icon, actress Alicia Vikander opted for a richly embellished leather dress as she took to the red carpet tonight. If you look closely you can see the tiny 3D pin decorations that make up the elaborate decorations- one-of-a-kind.

Cate Blanchett
A romantic twist on a classic floral dress, Blanchett's gown offered a rich ensemble of soft feathers and embroidered flowers. Haute splendour indeed.

Dakota Johnson
50 Shades actress Dakota Johnson channeled the official Valentine shade with a striking red floor-skimmer. Spaghetti straps complimented her figure while subtle frills added interest. Effortless.

Bel Powley
Kudos to newcomer Bel Powley! There's nothing I love more than a splash of colour and this certified rainbow of metallics got be excited. Teaming her gown with a pair of silver platforms, the actress looked every inch the 70's superstar.

Heida Reed
An LBD is a classic choice, but Reed added a luxe uplift to the traditional piece with a plunging neckline, new season pleats and a subtle metallic finish, complete with her hair placed sleekly behind her.

Gemma Chan
I love Gemma Chan's style and this BAFTA appearance is no different. Making chic look effortless, she chose a long sleeved gown, feathered with silver embellishments.

Gwendoline Christie
Set in a powerful pose, Game of Thrones' Gwendoline Christie opted for a sleeveless dress with a smart cream trim. Spot the sporting details in the waist area of the gown- nice one Christie!

Worst Dressed

Laura Bailey
BLEURGH. Midnight blue is so 1,000 seasons ago, and this lace piece is an insult to old Victoriana. Who wears buns and black eyes on the red carpet anyway?!

Poppy Jamie
Baroque patterns are all well and good, but teaming them with a moss green and nude palette and finishing the dress with a fish tail is a recipe for disaster. Avert your eyes.

Rihanna Finally Releases ANTI, and it's Free to Download

It's one of the most anticipated albums of the year; and after teaser videos, a world tour announcement and a new single 'Work', it's about time Rihanna revealed her latest collection of songs.

Addressing her fans on Twitter earlier today, she annouced that ANTI would be available to download for free. The 13-song album combines modern dancehall and autotune dirges with her strong Bajan roots and with current single Work at number one on iTunes in more than 70 countries, this compilation looks set to break a number of records.

The Golden Globes 2016: All the Nominations & the Essential Watch List

It's that time of year again! *eeeeep* Will it be another year of tragedy for Leo DiCaprio? Will Carol come out on top, and how will Tarantino's last movie The Hateful 8 do?

The Nominations were announced yesterday, and with Ricky Gervais returning to host, it's set to be a seriously good night. If, like me you can't wait until January 10th, why not prep for the big event with my watchlist!

Watch Now

Nominated for best motion picture, Mad Max was released on DVD back in September and makes for an impressive re-make of the Mel Gibson originals. Released at the end of November, Carol tells the story of two women from completely different backgrounds who engage in a love affair during the 1950's. Critically praised and starring the multi-award winning actress Cate Blanchett, the romantic drama has been nominated for the most Golden Globes. Amy Schumer's Trainwreck in now available on Netflix, Spy was released on DVD recently and Brooklyn with Saoirse Ronan is currently in limited cinemas. I think it's time to grab the popcorn dont you?

Book Up

Come January 1st, you have two corkers to look forward to. Jennifer Lawrence's Joy is released, as well as Eddie Redmayne's The Danish Girl, already hailed as an artistically made pseudo-biography. For those who missed The Martian in cinemas, you can pre-order the DVD set for release on January 12th. Fancy a classic Hollywood biopic? Trumbo tells the story of the legendary screenwriter who is blacklisted due to his political beliefs- in cinemas on 5th January.

Hang in There

The dream would be to watch all of the movies nominated before the Golden Globes, but with a few of them we might have to wait a little while. The 15th of January plays host to two movie releases- Explore Leonardo Dicaprio's uncharted wilderness in The Revenant, and The Room tells the story of a woman and her son being freed after five years in captivity.A week later, delve into the world of finance in The Big Short starring Hollywood hunks Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt and Christian Bale and on the 29th, Spotlight delves into the lives of journalist who investigate a religious scandal.

Best Dressed at Venice Film Festival 2015

The 72nd Venice Film Festival commenced yesterday, with an array of star-studded attendees. Let's check out the best dressed so far.

Kristen Stewart

She might choose tom boy chic for her off-duty days, but Kristen Stewart knows how to channel luxe charm for the red carpet with none other than Chanel couture. The intricately embroidered violet piece was complemented by her vampy rouge and messy updo. Effortless perfection!

Alicia Vikander

Actress Vikander wore four outfits while out at the festival, with this one for film Danish Girl being the strongest. The Louis Vuitton mini dress channeled retro chic with all over monochrome paisley print, finished with grungy strap detailing at the waist.

Amber Heard

Johnny Depp's wife Amber Heard adopted winter florals on the red carpet in this stunning layered gown. Reminiscent of a flamenco dancer, the side split gave the look a sultry edge. Meowwww

Alessandra Ambrosio

Looking every inch the Victoria's Secret Angel, Ambrosio charmed the crowd in her sheer maxi dress. A plunging neckline and skinny waist made for the perfect formalwear piece.

Elizabeth Banks

A vision in pure white, Elizabeth Banks opted for a neutral number, with a glittering diamante belt and neckline trim.

Best and Worst Dressed at the MTV VMAs 2015

It's that time of year again! The wildest and most dramatic award ceremony took place last night in star-studded style, with show-stopping outfits to match...

Best Dressed

Gigi Hadid
Turning up as part of Taylor Swift's girl squad, Gigi Hadid wowed in a dramatic front split mustard gown, complete with retro tresses, reminiscent of her model mothers. Perfection!

Kylie Jenner
Proving herself very much part of the Balmain army, Jenner donned a heavily weaved mini dress in the designers signature style. Nicknamed the Kim Klone for the night, the 18 year-old did strike a stark resemblance to her older sister in a jet black fringed wig.

Vanessa Hudgens
Ever the bohemian goddess, Vanessa Hudgens kept it floaty in a plunging dusky pink maxi dress, heavily accessorised for a touch of gypsy chic. Effortless!

FKA Twigs
Panned for this racy look, I loved FKA Twigs' intricate if not risque gown, complete with corset-like features.

Kim and Kanye
This might not be the couples' best look, but last night they stayed on trend, with Kim donning this season's coveted khaki complete with lace up front, her husband opting for something more casual, channeling his Adidas collection that was showcased earlier this year.

Nicki Minaj
Looking every inch an Egyptian Queen, Nicki Minaj shone in a shimmering gold gown with plunging neckline and sheer cut outs.

Rita Ora
Twit-twooo! Rita looks fabulous in her feather ensemble, intricately detailed with cross straps and cut-out bodess.

Hailee Steinfeld
Supporting bestie Taylor Swift, Hailee brought a touch of luxe to the red carpet in a Stella McCartney jumpsuit, Charlotte Olympia heels and a thick gold choker. On point!

Demi Lovato
Former Disney tween Demi Lovato showed a more demure side, opting for a powder pink mosaic style mini with her hair scraped into an updo. Loving those blush tones Demi!

Miley Cyrus
Okay so yes this might be hideous, but I do think this constitutes as the BEST of a bad bunch. Host Miley Cyrus chose a serious of *very* questionable outfits during the VMAs, but I have to admit I wasn't surprised. This piece that resembles dungaree straps attached to a chandelier is indeed Versace! How fun.

Worst Dressed

Kat Graham
I was so disappointed when Vampire Diaries actress Kat Graham took to the red carpet in what looked like knock-off Versace, she is always so chic. The piece bulged in all the wrong places and was accompanied by a bag that looked just like a Chinese lantern. What were you thinking?!

Amber Rose
Oh Amber Rose, we knew you were classless, but what did you think this would do to your reputation?! Arriving at the awards with her best friend in tow, she chose an insult printed jumpsuit filled with words like 'Golddigger' 'slut' and 'bitch'. My mind boggles.

Taylor Swift
EW. What is this?! Metallic houndstooth in a tracksuit format... what was going through Taylor Swift's mind I will never know. Her thick black eye is unflattering and her tight updo did not compliment the shape of her face.

Z La La
Okay so by now, I know Z La La will permanently live in my worst dressed section, but this alien ensemble takes the biscuit. I want to know how she got her hair to stand vertically!

Cara Delevingne
After constant appearances to promote her latest movie Paper Towns, I have to admit I had high hopes when I saw Cara Delevingne last night but I was left sorely disappointed. The star-covered rag did nothing for the star.

Kelly Osbourne
Why this lady is on Fashion Police baffles me- speaking of that, if you are looking for someone to replace her, *waves and points at self* ? This pinstriped puke-inducing piece was half way between a jumpsuit and disaster. BLEURGH.

Joe Jonas
Ah just when you thought the Jonas brothers' were making a well-deserved comeback to cool, brother Joe blows it with a disgusting brown leather ensemble. Unless he arrived on a motorbike and intended to change, this is unacceptable.

Selena Gomez
I always expect wonderfully edgy pieces from Selena, but last night fell flat. I would attempt to describe her dress, but it's too drab for words.. just look at it!

Mahogany Lox
What the fudge. Mahogany Lox looked more prom than premiere as she opted for a sickly blue dress. She accessorised with encrusted cat ears and... is that an advert for Clean and Clear spot cream on her handbag?!
