Whether you love her, or love to hate her, Miley Cyrus is a pop, and fashion icon. Proving that she truly can't be tamed, Cyrus has shown us her true style transformation through her clothes, but most importantly through her 'dos, so let's take at her hairvolution!
Most recently, Miley shocked us on Instagram with a picture of this super-colourful violet wig. Being the tease she is, she revealed to us that it's only a wig she was testing for Halloween (phew!)
After being shocked by her super blonde bob, Miley opted for a more autumnal brown in the last quarter of the year, and we are definitely big fans.
Looking every inch the rocker, Cyrus let loose with this messy quiff as her dark roots teased the natural back into her 'do.
Here it is! This was one of our first looks at the dramatic style she adopted after so many years of long hair. Channelling her inner P!nk, it clearly suits her.
One of this and indeed last season's most popular looks was ombre. Cyrus had her hair cut into a long, textured bob with some loose curls.
WOWZAS. This look is definitely my favourite. Sixties bouffant hair is clearly where it's at as Cyrus teamed a white two piece suit with backcombed hair. Hot to trot, or what?
Before the bob, was the thick, luscious hair that, let's face it, we lust for. This over-sized plait shows her youth for sure.

Rewind to 2008 and what do we have here? a 16 year-old Miley honing that vamp look with dark chestnut hair and a bright rouge dress.
Oh Gosh. I bet now you are thinking the bob is best. Miley was only a young wee thing when she made the decision to incorporate highlights into her hair. We are all glad these days are over.
This might be a wig she has on, but it's not just any old wig, it's her famous Hannah Montana prop. Working the 'do in 2007, I can't help thinking there is something reminiscent of Barbie here. Thank god these days are over.
